Rationale 

For over 4 decades since our establishment, Department of Dramatic Arts has been collaborating with numerous contemporary theatre groups, national and international, in organizing performances and workshops, achieving academic, cultural, and international relation success.

Objectives

  1. Organize cultural activities for the faculty, the university, the public, and the theatre community in Thailand.
  2. Organize academic activities for courses of Department of Dramatic Arts and other departments.
  3. Give students the opportunity to learn about contemporary dramatic arts from performances and post-performance discussions.
  4. Promote master and doctoral program in Dramatic Arts. Promote Sodsai Pantoomkomol Centre for Dramatic Arts to both national and international platforms. Promote the department and the centre as the leading cultural and academic centre.
  5. Contribute to the reputation of Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University who is hosting performances and exchanging ideas with world-famous artists.
